I'm a Florida State University graduate, a registered dietitian, a board certified specialist in renal nutrition, and licensed in the funshine state of Florida.

I started working for AdventHealth (formerly Florida Hospital) in 2002.  For 13 years, I took care of hospital inpatients, caring for people with different medical and dietary needs.  

​

In 2015, I transitioned into an outpatient dietitian role, where I found joy in helping people create strategies to improve their diets.  Many of the people I met were concerned with slowing the progression of kidney disease.  At the same time, I began to oversee the AdventHealth outpatient kidney dialysis unit.  Truly, for the last decade my focus has been on kidney nutrition.

Now, I've started this informational, community website dedicated to those with kidney health issues, and I am seeing patients through my new virtual counseling service, Kidney Kat, LLC.
